Singing Officiant

A personal venture that merges my vocalist background with my design practice. As a licensed wedding officiant in New Orleans, I wanted a site that captured the warmth and intimacy of the service — ceremonies where I sing for the couple as part of the experience.

This project was built almost entirely using AI-assisted development workflows. From initial layout scaffolding to responsive fine-tuning, AI tools like Claude Code helped me articulate design decisions faster than traditional hand-coding, letting me focus on the creative direction and personal storytelling rather than boilerplate.

What Made This an Exploration

• Testing how effectively AI can translate a creative brief into a polished, production-ready static site
• Experimenting with conversational prompting to iterate on design details — typography, color palettes, spacing
• Integrating Instagram embeds and building a personal brand site without traditional CMS overhead
• LGBTQ+ friendly, bilingual service messaging — ensuring AI-generated copy preserved authentic voice and cultural sensitivity

Design Highlights

Warm terracotta accents against a clean light background. Bold Unbounded typeface for headlines, Outfit for body text. Full-viewport hero with a parallax scroll effect. Sticky mobile navigation for quick contact access. The whole site ships as static HTML — no build tools, no framework, no dependencies beyond Bootstrap's grid.
